JOB DESCRIPTION

Front Desk Counsellor Are you pro-choice? Are you an exceptional communicator with excellent customer (client) service skills? Do you take pride in administrative tasks? Do you have an interest in sexual and reproductive health? Perhaps the Front Desk Counsellor position at Choice in Health Clinic is the role for you! To be considered for the position you must have all of the following: A solid pro-choice philosophy and the ability to support any client in their choice to have an abortion for any reason; Detail orientated with regards to tasks and the ability to be flexible and empathetic with regards to clients; An understanding of equity issues and a commitment to working within an anti-oppression framework; Strong customer service orientation; Experience providing administrative support in a lead role; Excellent communication skills and a calm manner; Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills; Strong knowledge of computer software including Word and Excel; Meticulous records and database maintenance skills; Able to manage time efficiently and prioritize multiple tasks; Experience with OHIP billing.
